Our Services         Feasibility and Business Case Studies   The day-to-day operation of a municipality, regardless of its size, is a complex process. Human resources are often oversubscribed, and staff is often not able to devote the time necessary to develop detailed feasibility and business case studies for various investment proposals. Watson & Associates has worked with municipalities for over 24 years in almost every facet of their financial operations. As a result, we have a solid basis to conduct your feasibility study or develop the business case you require. In a recreation complex feasibility study, for example, we would: • assess the competition – locations, programs, fees, capacity and demand; • determine capital and operating costs of the proposed facility; • examine projected revenues and identify any funding gaps; • consider long term financing arrangements; • test the financial viability of the project; • provide an overall financial recommendation regarding the feasibility of the project.
